Cul de Sac?

Into the future we move
Deeper,farther into the unknown
Down the abyss of the past
Letting our history drown,
Or do we?
Someone out there in the know
Of why to the future,and how?
Is there something missing
That needs yet addressing?

The Scramble for Eternity

Take a brief moment out of your precious lifespan

And think as critically as you can;

Be it a high-profile war between states

Or the amassing of health and wealth in the hands of magnates

The controversies among the religions of the world

The harmony between the full and the void

The things that make no sense to you,or otherwise

Have oftentimes taken you by surprise

The love,the terror of man to man

The evil roots of any malicious plan

Jealousy,trust,science,superstition

Or anything worthy of mention;

All that is done or happens,in pride or vanity

Is man's implicit move in the scramble for eternity.

Pricks in the Eye

What in heavens' sake
Are these many in the eye a prick
That neither want nor plan
Nor see themselves can?!
