Judgemental

As stupid an animal as human
As so un-unique and as unfair
Exist none, other animal that lives
No other living form, so to compare;
The hypocrisy and ignorance
The greed for fame and glory
Enshrine lock, stock and barrel
 The not-being-judgemental story.

Fallacy

Deep in my heart I can see
Some part of me is a fallacy,
That commits a serious treason
Putting my heart at the heart of reason;
But deep in my heart I can feel
That some part of me is real:
I know whatever I feel by my heart
Is nothing more worth than a piece of dirt.

Mia mia Tripoli

Mia mia, Tripoli
Wake up and endure the pain
Prove yourself to the world
Kindle the torch alight again:
You the beacon of civilization
The crossroads of humanity
Mia fil mia for freedom
Via, va via, vanity!
Wake up, answer the calls of the dead
Break the yokes of abuse
Show the people how much you cared;
Mia mia Ṭarābulus
Viva democracia
Viva your true citizens
Mia fil mia, Libya!

Tomorrow

Every single today, we look forward to a thing,
We anticipate, and wait for what tomorrow will bring;
We plan ahead and beyond, as long as we are alive,
But have we ever witnessed when tomorrow did arrive?
Does tomorrow ever come, or is there some sort of confusion
Between a linear translation of today and a futuristic day in illusion?

The Astronomer at Night [II]

The sky is bored, it's no more blue
The clouds show off, no see-through
The trees are dead, still at best
The horizon is near, right on my chest
The moon is shy, the stars hide
The oceans sulk, low in tide
The city is dull all the while
Nothing appears in style
Nor one is up for a smile.

The Astronomer at Night [I]

Betwixt me and the stars up high,
What else is there in the blue sky?
Wonders the astronomer at night;
Oh here up comes the Moon!
And a comet flyby just comes to light,
And zoom in the planets so soon!
What else out there, he enquires in hindsight,
Gazing at the constellations in delight;
Far and wide, he searches all around
And it's more other stars that abound.

Types of People

I don't really know why I care,
But I feel like  writing a piece-
And I know it's only fair-
About the type of people that exist,
In the entire human as a species:
Most are liars and some are rude,
Some are secretive and never understood;
Few are diligent and others lazy,
Most are  'normal' and  some 'crazy' ;
Some are psychic and most are selfish,
Who never exhaust themselves of talking rubbish;
Most die for respect and dignity,
Of which all are arrogant and empty,
But they think otherwise: Oh what a pity!
Most are gossipers, others shy,
But never know if you ask them why;
Most are stupid but they never bow,
To admit that that stupid they are I know;
Some never care but others insist,
To wonder about the type of people that exist!

......................................................................

[If you are curious as to where you belong,
You do the math and you won't be wrong.]

What's me?

I can't see and I can't laugh
Without thy honour's permission;
All my body, and all my thoughts
And everything I own as stuff
Is under thine own discretion;
So what's me and what's mine
If thou ownest me-all
From foot to spine?
If the eyes don't work
And I can't talk;
If I can't be for me
Nor play I a role,
What's my purpose, where's me
What am I after all?

Freedom

Free prior to conception
In confinement at gestation
Born into a society of norms
To grow up amidst idiosyncrasies
Against artificial legal storms
At times deemed illegal
Oftentimes more, outcast
Free I die, and free at last.

Evolution

Once upon a no cosmic time
There used to be no you and me,
No time, no space
Not a single star and galaxy,
No, absolute nothing
Of everything we now see;
And once upon a cosmic time
The nothing that never was
Became in no time an event,
That beyond, imaginations aside,
Grew infinitely in extent
To be the you and me
And the universe we abide.
